Paul Schiada received his law degree from the University of Southern California Law School in 1987, and his Economics degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1984. Mr. Schiada was a Partner in the Los Angeles office of Katten Muchin & Zavis (now Katten Muchin Rosenman) until 1998. Mr. Schiada specialized in complex commercial transactions, including corporate finance, real estate, joint ventures, entertainment, intellectual property and mergers and acquisitions. After leaving the law firm, Mr. Schiada joined one of his clients, Platinum Technology (a publicly traded company based in Illinois), as Vice President and Senior Corporate Counsel, until the sale of the company in 1999. Subsequent to Platinum Technology, Mr. Schiada held similar in-house positions with two other technology-related companies, first Divine Interventures (a publicly traded internet incubator based in Illinois) until 2000, and Digital Entertainment Systems (a media technology company based in California) until 2001. From 2001 through 2003, Mr. Schiada was a staff counsel for corporate and real estate transactions, first with Strategic Law Partners (Los Angeles) and then Munger, Tolles & Olson (Los Angeles). Since 2003 and prior to joining Versailles Law Corporation, Mr. Schiada had his own law practice, advising individuals and small and medium sized businesses in corporate and real estate transactions.
